With a number of years of experience as a dedicated insurance advisor, Matt brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial insight and expertise in life insurance to IFCG. Prior to joining the team, Matt played a pivotal role in launching a life insurance brokerage at one of Canada’s most trusted institutions, where he served as Managing Advisor. His hands-on experience in building this division not only deepened his knowledge of the insurance landscape but also refined his ability to offer tailored solutions for both individuals and businesses.

Before entering the insurance industry, Matt enjoyed a successful entrepreneurial career, founding and exiting several ventures across various industries. One of his most notable achievements includes pitching his business on, CBC’s Dragons' Den, where he secured investment and gained valuable exposure. This entrepreneurial background, combined with Matt's formal education, including an MBA from the Ted Rogers School of Management, has equipped him with a solid understanding of the complex challenges faced by business owners and individuals. This academic foundation enhances his ability to navigate the intricacies of business needs and provide thoughtful, customized solutions.
